RBC is CFA's newest Ragdoll breed club and is based in CFA's Southwest Region.   Although just approved in February, 2005, RBC is already very active and has lots of GREAT things in the works


 

 7th International Ragdoll Congress 2010
Denver, Colorado

 IN 2010 ALL ROADS LEAD TO DENVER

The 7th International Ragdoll Congress will be held September 24-26, 2010 in the beautiful city of DENVER CO. The hosting club will be the "Foot of the Rockies Cat Club" It will be Co-Hosted by the two CFA Ragdoll Clubs, "Ragdolls of America Group" and the "Ragdoll Breed Club".

The show will be an 8 ring show with a 450 cat limit.  CFA President Pam DelaBar as been signed as one of the judges for the show, other judges signed for the show are:  Gary Veach who has worked very hard to get the Ragdolls accepted in CFA in all patterns and colors, Brian Moser and Kim Everett-Hirsch another judge who gave strong support to getting the Ragdolls accepted.

The Educational Seminar and the Breed Seminar will be held on the Friday before the show.  Some of the ideas for the Educational Seminar are:  Roger Brown on DNA Cat Genes, Susan Little on Kidney problems, Denver has a reproduction Clinic, that would be another possibility, I am sure that there will be others as we get closer to the show.

The International Ragdoll Congress is always trying to come up with new and different ideas for the congress, this congress is no different, a lot of new and exciting ideas have come up that I think will make this to be another great congress.

We will be putting up a new web site for the 7th International Ragdoll Congress in the very near future with many more details.  The web site will be the committees means of keeping the Ragdoll Community up to date as the plans for the congress continue. 

The International Ragdoll Congress (IRC) is unique in that it is a Worldwide Congress bringing together Ragdoll Breeders from around the World.  It is a 3 day event with a Educational Seminar, a Breed Seminar, and congresses in all three classes.  The IRC is primary for the education of Ragdoll breeders, both in the standard and in cattery management.  It has �always had the ulterior motive of advancing the Ragdoll breed as one of the TOP breeds within the various cat associations. 

It's not to early to begin making your plans to attend this hugh EVENT, bringing together Ragdoll Fanciers from around the world.  If you have ever attended one of the International Ragdoll Congresses before you know how much fun they can be.  The IRC Committee members will do everything possible to make this an exciting & fun time for you.
