Ragdoll Breed Standard
The CFA Ragdoll Breed Standard has been revised. The new standard goes into effect for the 2005-2006 show season. Important changes to the standard include:
Additional color classes for competition. Previously, all Ragdolls were in the same color class. The revised standard includes Multiple Color Classes as shown below. Please note that males are even-numbered and females are odd-numbered. Thus, a seal bicolor female will be color class 0483 while a blue lynx bicolor male will be entered in color class 0480.
Blue Point & White (0486, 0487) Seal Point & White (0482, 0483) All Others (0480, 0481) Includes lilac, chocolate, all lynx, red, cream, tortie & all vans.
Removal of smoke and shaded colors from the breed standard.
Revised description of head markings on vans to include full facial bicolor markings.
